Little background of myself:
I have an absolute, undying passion for all things music. From a young age, I was in awe of all the bands I was exposed to. Like a lot of you, my first real obsession with any kind of band was Metallica. From there, a fire was lit inside me and I was sent on an everlasting musical journey for the ages. I started exploring everything from Sepultura to The Replacements; I listened to anything I could get my hands on. Every band I’ve gotten into has had a profound impact on my life; it has shaped me into the person I am today.
I was about thirteen when I got my first drum kit. I would spend many hours every single day playing along to my favorite songs; I quickly realized that I could imitate my heroes pretty well. It was the first time in my life where I felt like I was good at something. I was able to express myself in ways I was never able to before.
Since then, I’ve been in and out of bands, auditioning, and working my ass off to fulfill my dreams. I’ve grown as a musician and as an individual. I strive every single day to keep improving. It’s been a long journey with lots of ups and downs, but I am nowhere near where I want to be. I appreciate you joining me on my journey to find my place in life.
